5th Annual Washington Borough  5K Run / 1 Mile Kids Run


Please, join us to make history! Washington Borough Recreation is proud to announce its 6th annual 5k race that will be held on Saturday, October 14h, at 10 a.m.  Have you been to Washington Borough yet? If not, this is a great opportunity to explore our beautiful town.

Course description:

The 5k course is a rolling loop through historic Washington Borough. Race starts at Washington Municipal Hall (100 Belvidere Ave.) and goes through the town passing the Washington Borough Public Library, picturesque Warren Hills Regional Middle School until Alvin Sloan Ave (named in honor of Mayor Sloan). The course continues around Alvin Sloan, passing in front of Joseph Steinhardt Memorial Field where a water station will be located. It continues back to the finish line at Washington Municipal Hall on Belvidere Ave.

Pre-registered runners and walkers will receive a race shirt on race day. Late and day-of-race registrants will receive a shirt on day of race while supplies last.

5K Awards:

Ceremony immediately following 5k. Awards to top overall male/female. Awards 3-deep to males and females in: 14 under, 15-19,20-29, 30-39, 40-49,50-59, 60-69, 70+. Overall winners not eligible for age group awards.
